We can safely say, that almost everybody has got some sort of action camera, even those who tend to follow a more peaceful, or even boring lifestyle. This was also made with an action camera:

With 3d printing we can make virtually any accessory for mounting, carrying, holding, or doing all kind of tweaks. (just be sure to choose and test your materials well!)

We’ve picked a few great ideas we’ve found around.

This little “GoPro ground spike” will help you record almost any outdoor, ground-level action (whatever that could mean), just don’t leave it for too long on a golf course, ‘cause it looks really tempting for the average golfer!

When Mum’s ready with the laundry, it’s your turn to be the action hero of your backyard, with this neat little cablecam dolly, since it best hangs on a well tensioned clothesline! (Or a zipline between two epic cliffs, as a colleague with more colourful fantasy suggested)

Swiss freeskier and film maker Nicolas Vuignier had an awesome idea to recreate the old matrix-style bullet time flyaround, just using his iPhone or GoPro and a sling-like camera mount. Just be sure not to hit anybody with that thing, and hold on firmly to the handle.

Make a 360° video with this awesome mount for 6 GoPros, which will cost you… Ah, who cares, when you can view your action in 360 degrees?

If you’re on a budget, go for the Xiaomi version, which is also an excellent alternative, or in case you happen to be on a really tight budget, go for the one camera version! (just ask everybody in your surroundings to hold on for a minute)

Low lighting is the bane of most of these little cameras, but hey, nothing that a tinkerer can’t resolve! This awesome ring light will brighten up even your darkest adventures! One for you GoPro folks and one for you Xiaomi fans!

So don’t just sit around, print something awesome, and go out for new adventures! (and be safe!)
