Today we want to introduce you the next level for desktop 3D printing. Already considered your 3D printer new best friend, The Palette  is a new Kickstarter project that lets you build a total new range of creations, as an upgrade for the 3D printer you already own.

Here’s the big thing about this new amazing toy: with The Palette you can print up to four colours and different types of materials – how cool is that? So actually this means that your once simple and monochromatic 3D printings can now be more accurate, complete and real.

The Palette: expand your desktop 3D printer potential

You can now create even better prototypes without the need of buying expensive 3D printers. You can keep your good old desktop 3D printer, your slicer software you love and use whatever filament supplier you want – The Palette  fits them all to make your printings even better.

Here’s how everything works: the Palette takes in four filament inputs and combines them together into a single filament output! Everything is done automatically, following the order of the filaments, making sure that every colour shows up exactly where it should!

Our Team really believe on the potential of this new feature. Actually, with The Palette desktop 3D printing can be even stronger and have an unlimited growth. If today desktop 3D printing is truly revolutionizing the way we make things, imagine when you plug The Palette into your 3D printer. A  whole new world of possibilities will come up: objects will be more real, prototypes will be more accurate, leading to an even better communication. The power to make things in every home will grow and we’re really happy to be part of it.

Our CraftBot works perfectly with The Palette so CraftBoters, try it out! Support The Palette on Kickstarter and have fun!
