After World Cup first kick of a ball, 3D print will continue to improve people’s experience in World Cup 2014, this time with a more entertaining project: the SambaCan – a 3D printable drinking can holder & samba shaker in one!

Designed by Nanning de Jong of 3Dwergen and Lennert van der Laan & Gert Groeneveld of Kiva Kuva, it was released together with 3D Hubs.

The idea is simple: to allow anyone to customize and 3D print their own SambaCan in their team’s national colours to support their nation. It will allow you to keep your drinks from getting warm from your hands and, once you finish your drink, you simply break off the pull ring, put it inside the can and place the can upside down to start making some noise.

To have your own SambaCan you can simply download your file in Youmagine or go to 3D Hubs to get it printed via one of the 3D printer owners in your local area.
