Makey Makey Go: creativity on the go

A donut space bar, an apple drum, a plant harp, a banana piano, a flappy jelly, a slide or a smart pie selfie – you can make almost anything with this new Makey Makey Go kit. The kit comes with a USB stick and an alligator clip that you can plug in almost anything to turn into a keyboard or mouse button. The project is on Kickstarter, they have 57 days to go and they already reached more than $50,000 out of the $10,000 initial goal. And you can still support them and get your kit for only $19 – how cool is that?

The greatest thing about technology is that it really helps you to reinvent the world and the way we see things. And this new Makey Makey Go proves it in a very funny way. And more, it is a tool that allows everyone to be creative, encouraging people to create their own inventions and to understand other people’s inventions. It is the ultimate tool that helps beginners and experts to make countless art, music, engineering, and science projects, with a single kit.

Here’s how this new technology works: you simply plug Makey Makey GO into your laptop’s USB port and the Alligator Clip on any object you want. When you touch the object, Makey Makey GO sends the computer a keyboard or mouse message so actually your compute ror laptop thinks that the object you added is a normal keyboard or mouse. It will work with any app and any webpage that use a mouse or a keyboard press and also with any material that can conduct at least a tiny bit of electricity.

Can you imagine what we could have use to write this article?

Support them on Kickstarter and have fun!
