A car that reaches 300Km/h, small drones, movies costumes, built with 3D Printed components, were only a small part of the advances in 3D printing shown in London.

Among other, the main pointed out advantages of this growing industry are:

  • Short production times
  • Lower production costs
  • Freedom to create
  • Flexibility for modifications

One of the issues that 3D Printing industry still need to evolve is the 3D Printing Material with the right durability, different textures and the strength that for example, textile fiber allows. In order to achieve the desired fiber strength a continuous fiber needs to go through the material.

If we remember, in the beginning, 3D printing solutions were only used to produce prototype models for plastic surgery, architecture and manufacture industries to be able to visualize the final product.
